Using the Web Font

It's very easy to get started! Just include this code somewhere near the start of your html page:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://www.simpleparish.com/catholic-icon-font/style.css">

Then insert an icon anywhere on your page using a span tag with a class that matches one of our icons:

<span class="icon-[code]"></span>

For example, to include a eucharist icon, include this code on your page:

<span class="icon-eucharist"></span

Just like that, it'll appear:

Using the font locally

If you want to use the font locally download the TrueType font and install it. If you are using macOS (or OS X), you can use Font Book to see all the glyphs included in the font by pressing cmd + 2. You can then drag individual icons to your document. You can also see available icons from the Glyphs panel in Illustrator and Photoshop. If you enable ligatures in the application you are using, you can also insert the icons by typing the name of the icon (lowercase).

That means you can use it even for commercial purposes, but tell people (anywhere will do) where you got it.
